Yeast Infection Symptoms
Different women experience the symptoms of vaginal yeast infections differently, and it’s very possible that your own symptoms will change from one occurrence to another, however, there are some telltale signs which indicate that you may be about to get a vaginal yeast infection.
- The first and most obvious sign that you may be getting a vaginal yeast infection is discomfort “down there”. You might feel a little bit itchy or sore around your labia and the entrance to your vagina. You might also feel a little swollen.
- The next sign, which not all women will notice at first, is a whitish discharge that is generally odourless. Some people say it looks a little bit like cottage cheese.
- Other symptoms may include an uncomfortable burning sensation when you urinate, and pain or a burning sensation during sexual intercourse.
